Alright
well, here she is... aint she a beuty... gonna get me a swobo basket for the rear, a basket for the front... and a bell. maybe two bells, that's about all she needs... (well maybe a few lights and some flowers) Jaqueline and I took it out for her maiden voyage last night, yia yia's, Ivana cone ice cream, and a tour to the fountain on campus... Man, I tell you what, nothing puts a smile on your face, or the faces of everyone around you like seein a yellow tandem go bye...on a sad note,
Shortstop broke two toes canoeing the niobreara river yesterday.. so make sure you send her some get well cards. (oh don't worry, I'll get some pics of her on crutches) She had to put up with years of my damage, it'll be nice to stop in and check on her now and again to make sure she's gettin along ok.. I'll be over mowing for the next few weeks... (you know she's gonna milk that one) just wanted to let a few of you out there who read this know, cuz I'm sure she hasn't called everyone yet...
it's a foggy one out there today kids, be carefull, and have a good one.

<< home | post a commentNice! We used to have one like that but blue when I was 14 in California. Our favorite thing to do was sneak out in the middle of the night and ride it around. It was so fast compared to BMX bikes or boards. We'd always take it when we were going to distant skatespots.
Ahh, good times!
Holy shit that thing is cool... That's a prime acquisition CVO. A functional piece of history, and from our birth year even!
Congratulations,
MG
when I saw it, I instantly turned to dr. jonze and told him, no way will I ever get rid of this bike, and if I do, I'll give it back to you for exactly what you sold it to me for..
I totaly lucked out.
I think I'm gonna grab a couple of bmx seatposts to make it a bit more comfortable, they are a little short. just be able to move the seats up about an inch or two, depending on who the stoker is... racks and baskets next..
if anyone has an old rack they arn't using and wana part with it for a few beers. let me know..
or a basket,
thanks
that thing is good.
i've got an extra rack for the cause.
make sure you hold onto the original parts -- especially the pedals, grips and seats. Nice 1970s Schwinns like this one are actually worth some money.
yeah, everything on that bike that comes off, goes right back to dr. jonze,
I'll probably take the peddles off so they don't get damaged and give them back to him for safe keeping.
I know she's worth some money..
I gotta get some new s-7 tires from re-cycled this weekend. and some other nick nacks...
she's a good time.
and I'm looking forward to that rack bonsal. thanks buddy.
I gotta talk to Woodman down at the wrench and have him order me up one of those swobo baskets...
Just have to love those Submarine's for two, Teri and I have often talked of getting something newer for trips:) Enjoy that biatch!!
Peace
damn, that thing's SEXY!
nice use of the poop tag. lol!
thoe poop tag is for shortstop
ya gotta feal kinda poopy for her breaking her toe's this time of the year and being laid up in a boot..
she's gonna hate being on crutches...
